Torres became Liverpool's record signing during the summer after completing a £26 million deal from Spanish side Atletico Madrid. Torres arrived with a reputation for scoring goals and he has certainly shown he can do that in the Premier League. Liverpool fans have compared him to Reds legends such as Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler, high praise for such a young player.
Torres has already scored 11 goals in all competitions for Liverpool and some feel that may of been more had it not of been for Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez' rotation policy. Torres has already become a huge fan favourite at Anfield and if he continues in this kind of form there is no doubt he can become one of the worlds best strikers.
