Premier League teams given two extra days to sign new players
The FA have today confirmed that next month's transfer window will close at 5pm on February 2nd. As well all know, the January transfer window usually opens on January 1st and closes on January 31st at midnight, however the 31st of January is a Saturday and the FA has therefore decided to extend the window by two days.
Personally, I am a little unhappy that the deadline has not been extending until midnight on February 2nd. I always enjoy those late nights watching Sky Sports News, with teams trying ever so hard to make their last purchases of the window.
