Spurs to make £10 million move for Premier League midfielder
Tottenham are preparing a £10 million bid for Wigan Athletic midfielder Wilson Palacios. The Honduras international has been one of Wigan's top performers this season and has now caught the attention's of Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
The 24-year old arrived at the JJB last January after spending six months on loan with Birmingham City. Since then he has made over 40 appearances for the Latics, becoming a real fan favourite in the process, however he may be about to leave for White Hart Lane.
Redknapp is desperate to add another midfielder to his squad in the coming weeks and he has now set his sights on Palacios. I have been really impressed with Palacios since he came to England. He is a terrific holding midfield player who certainly isn't afraid to put in a challenge. Wigan boss Steve Bruce will obviously be reluctant to sell, however I think, should Spurs manage to get their man for the reported £10 million, he would prove great value for money.
