Spurs move for £8 million Croatian back on
Tottenham's move for Manchester City defender Vedran Corluka could be back on after City agreed a fee for Hamburg defender Vincent Kompany. The Croatian international has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane for weeks now, however as yet nothing has been agreed. (Daily Mail)
Spurs boss Juande Ramos is keen to add to his defence before the close of the transfer window and Vedran Corluka is said to be his number one target. The player is also said to be open to a move to North London according to his agent.
As a City fan myself, I hope Corluka stays, however I am of the opinion that an unhappy player should be allowed leave a club. He had a terrific first season at the City of Manchester and it would be a real shame to see him leave so early. I feel Spurs would be a great deal if they signed the player for the rumoured £8 million.
