United make £9 million bid for Turk !
Newcsatle have made a £9 million bid for Turkish international Arda Turan according to reports on Sky Sports today.
After the depature of Emre from Newcastle earlier in the week, the Geordies are looking to replace him with another Turk, Arda Turan. Turan is an attacking midfielder or left winger currently playing for Galatasary, he has also been capped 19 times for Turkey.
There are major doubts over the futures of Newcaslte's current left midfielders, with N'Zogbia and Damien Duff both being linked with moves away from St. James. However Keegan has supposedly opened talks with the 21 year old in what could be a £9 million splash out by owner Mike Ashley. There is a chance that Newcastle will have to up their bid by a couple of million to secure Galatasary's go-ahead.
