Liverpool to complete £7 million signing after medical today !
Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Andrea Dossena according to reports on Sky Sports today.
The Udinese full back is set to take a medical at Anfield today after a £7 million offer was accpeted last week. The 26 year is thought to be looking to get the deal done before this weekend when he is due to get married.
Benitez made it clear before the transfer window opened that he wanted to improve in the full back positions. Just a week in already Dossena becomes the second defender introduced this Summer after the induction of Swiss international Philip Degen."The deal is practically done" said Dossena's agent in an interview this week
