United and Liverpool chase Milan star

According to various papers today, Liverpool and United are interested in signing AC Milan striker Ronaldo.

Milan are about to release the Brazilian striker and rumour has it that both United and Liverpool are interested in signing the player as a free agent.

Ronaldo joined AC back in 2007 after leaving Real Madrid, where he scored over 80 goals in in just under 130 games for the club.

Ronaldo has been ravaged by injuries in recent months and has hardly played. AC are reluctant to offer the 31-year old a new contract due to Ronaldo's continuing fitness issues.

I have to say it would be a big surprise to see either of these clubs sign Ronaldo. Ronaldo was a terrific player a few years back but unfortunately for him, it hasn't work out over the last few months.

Ronaldo maybe 31 but still good player. Look at all the brazilian they all play till they 35+. If Liverpool can sign him that would be good for team and fan.

Ronaldo has been one of my favourite players ever and for him to grace Anfield would be like Robbie Fowlers return.

Id love him to be at Liverpool if only even to give the youngsters someone to look up too.

Go on Rafa, take a gamble! he is a better finisher than kuyt and voronin put together. with torres pace, all ronaldo would have to do is stay on the penalty spot and tap them in.

It would be mad to sign Ronaldo. He hasn't played for a long time with A.C. Milan and before with Real.My opinion is to try and go for Michael Mifsud our Maltese star who plays for Coventry. He is still 24 and has blistering pace and an eye for goal.
