Spurs to snatch £14 million striker from under noses of Arsenal
According to today's Observer, Tottenham are to bid for Lyon striker Karim Benzema who has long been a target of North London rivals Arsenal.
Benzema has really made a name for himself this season with terrific performances in both the French League and the Champions League.
The 20-year old striker was linked with a move to Arsenal back in November and they are still said to be keen on the player but Spurs boss Juande Ramos could be set to bid £14 million for the player.
I really would love to see Benzema in the Premier League because he clearly has a lot of talent. It's not just his finishing, but his all round play that impresses me and he would be a great addition to the Spurs team, especially if Berbatov does leave.

Spurs are a feeder club. Some of the comments here show some huge chips on the shoulders boys. Benzema is hugely over rated player who looks good in a league that resembles the SPL. Wenger has no interest in him as his movement is poor off the ball. His agent is looking for a chump so he can get paid well..spurs came to mind for obvious reasons, Even Ramos might see through this one, however the spurs board will probably take the bait. Morons!
