Spurs and Pompey target £8 million former Chelsea star !

Tottenham and Pompey are targeting former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman according to reports in The Guardian today.

The 28 year old is currently playing for Fenerbahce and it appears as though he has rediscovered his goal scoring form which attracted the likes of Chelsea a few years ago.

He has managed to make an average of just under a goal every second game for the Turkish side, whereas at Chelsea he only mustered up 1 in every 7 appearances for The Blues.

It is thought that Spurs or Pompey will launch an offer of about £9 million for the striker who admittedly has proved his goal scoring ability. I think that he would be a poor signing for the likes of Spurs but he might be a good addition to the Pompey set up. No offence to Portsmouth it's just Spurs have a lethal strike force.

No offence to Spurs, but you may still get "lethally" relegated.

...and in case you forgot, you won't get to Europe next year after you lose to Chelsea in the League Cup Final either.

Lets face it. Spurs have some awesome players and Portsmouth have the likes of Benjani, Kanu and Utaka. I realy couldnt see him getting a regular spot in either team to be totally honest. COME ON YOU BLUES ---- PFC 4 EUROPE! ----
