Liverpool: 3 INS, 3 OUTS !!!

Liverpool have already completed the signing of Martin Skrtel so far in the January transfer window. Who do we need to bring in and who do we need to get rid of before January 31st.


I think that before we make any signings we should at least cash in on some of our own and I think the first person to do that with is Momo Sissoko. In truth, the Malian international just hasn't been the same since returning from his eye injury last season and I feel he has to go before he gets even worse and is worth nothing.

Second on the list to sell would have to be Voronin, he's done very little for the club since his arrival and if we want to have realistic aspirations of winning the title we have to get average players like him as far away from the club as possible.

And finally Dirk Kuyt, admitted he is a hard worker but he is just a really poor player. He looks awkward on the ball and a lot of the time he just gets in the way. Don't even get me started on the chances that he misses.

Now who should we sign... Well I think that the first area we need to strengthen is our strike force. To be perfectly honest I would be happy with Crouchy and Torres up front together, but I am convinced that Rafa has something against big Pete... you just cannot justify Kuyt or Voronin starting ahead of him.

So for a striker, it depends on what price range we're talking about. If we were looking up the top end of the scale, I would have to say David Villa. Going down one level, I would say Huntelaar and lowering once more, I'm sure many will disagree but a player who has impressed me this season is Kenwyne Jones.

The next area I feel we should strengthen is probably a winger and there is only one suitable player I could think of in this position, Ricardo Quaresma... possibly a bit unrealistic. Maybe you can think of some other wingers ???

The last player I would say is probably no surprise to you Reds fans, Javier Mascherano. I think he deserves a full time contract at the club. He filled the shoes of Xabi while he was injured and he offers a different option to Xabi in the defensive midfield area.

    Another player that has to go is Riise.Only plus is his left foot,but can't remember the last time being on target,always loses the ball when pressured.Worse than Sissoko.

    OUT: Sissoko must leave no doubt about that.. Kuyt Crouch and Kewell have not done enough, they have to leave!

    IN: We now got Skrtel in the back, so a winger and a striker would be nice (David Silva and Alfonso Alves) and ofcourse Mascherano!!!

    Honestly, I don't think Kuyt is playing in his natural position. He's an out and out striker and every striker misses a few. He's low on confidence now but I think if we play him in his natural position he should do well. Also, Quaresma isn't suited for the English game, and it shows when he plays in the Champions League, I think Silva would be a much better option, or Matias Fernandez. They both beat players, and both can score.

    I've been disappointed with Riise this season he seems to lack a bit of confidence which is no good for anybody. Aurelio is Liverpool's next permanent left back.

    Kewell and Pennant will probably stay as Rafa seems to like shit wingers - Zenden was embarassing last season - and he made the Champions League Final!

    Kuyt will also stay and Voronin. Both get stuck in and personally I like that.

    Getting Diego from Werder Bremen would be good but hardly likely.

    Kuyt sucks arse, Voronin is pathetic, Kewell is a big waste of time, Pennant should have stay at Birmingham, Sissoko and Riise i liked and rated but both for what ever reason have turned bad and need to move on as much as we need to sell them (good luck to them 2 but the rest can just **** off.

    would like to see some decent players signed who are capable of making an impact now.

    striker - not Huntelaar..!! he would be good long term but like i said i want something now. I like Kenwyn Jones, Defoe or even even robbie keane, but i think one player is been ignored by rafa and that babel (i'm sure i aint the only person to notice this).

    on the wing anybody would be an improvement, personally i would go for Muntari or Theo walcott.
