Sven to replace Bianchi with England's destroyer !!!
Manchester City have today been linked with Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, the man who has severely dented England's hopes of qualifying for Euro 2008. The player who scored both Russia's goals against England last month when Russia beat England 2-1, has today been linked with a £10 million move to Eastlands.
City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has been linked with endless amounts of strikers in recent months, due to the poor form of £8.8 million man Rolando Bianchi and the inconsistency of Emile Mpenza. It is believed that Bianchi may be sold in January and Pavlyuchenko be brought in to replace him at the club.

Spartak Moscow chief Leonid Fedun revealed City are set to have Pavlyuchenko, 25, watched in their final game of the season this week as they face Zenit St Petersburg. Fedun said: “I know City plan to send a scout.”
