Man Utd star set for London return !?!?!?

New Spurs boss Juande Ramos has been reportedly eyeing up former Spurs star Michael Carrick in what could be the big January transfer story according to a report in The Express last Thursday.

The England international joined United in July 2006 from Spurs and could already be heading back to White Hart Lane come January. Carrick has made 42 appearances for The Reds since joining last year managing 3 goals as well as making a big impression on the United faithful. His highlight so far came in the 7-1 demolition of Roma where he bagged two goals from long range against the Italians.

Ramos has reportedly expressed his interest in the 26 year old and it is expected that if Tottenham are to make a bid for him it will be for a fee of around £18 million, similar to that of which the London club sold him for.

Would you swap a good chance of another premier league title and the Champions League for Spurs? With Anderson's form Carick is likely to get less games than last season but he'll still see plenty of action. As the other poster said B*llocks
