City line up £30 million Spurs pair !!!

Man City are set to make bids for Spurs stars Paul Robinson and Dimitar Berbatov in the January transfer window according to The News of The World newspaper.

England's number 1 Paul Robinson has been horribly off form for his London club this season contributing greatly to Spurs' poor start to the campaign. Also with rumours escalating about new head coach Juande Ramos on the verge of signing his former keeper Palop from Sevilla we may see the end of Paul Robinson's reign as Spurs shot stopper.

Dimitar Berbatov has also failed to impress at White Hart Lane this season as the Bulgarian international has only started to find his feet in recent weeks. Despite this it seems Sven Goran Eriksson has already been convinced with last seasons inspiring performances as the Swede is reportedly ready to put in an offer for the striker come January.

It is expected that Berbatov and Robinson will cost £20 million and £10 million respectively, I hope for the sake of Thaksins bank balance, that Sven doesn't want anyone else.

haha what a joke! £30 million for two world class players who are vital players to spurs, never going to happen, more like £30 million for each!lol this is more of man city wishful thinking mixed with the extremely disgusting lies that the tabloid's so called journalists spread....in one word its bollocks!

Berbatov to Man City, absolutely hilarious. Even funnier that you see fit to repeat such nonsense for consideration. What a joke

For crying out loud. How do you expect to be taken seriously?

tut tut tut, get a bit of money and win a few games and they think they can attract WORLD CLASS PLAYERS! No offense City fans but you are still a small-ish club who have never achieved anything and even with Sven and that thai criminal there, probably never will! More likely outcome will be Elano on his way to a BIGGER CLUB like united, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle... The day that Man City takes top players off of spurs is the day i tear up my season ticket and utter the words im now a goo... i cant even bring myself to say it!

I hope Spurs aren't honestly dumb enough to unload Berby to a Premiership side. If they need to get rid of him, fine, but send him to the continent. Otherwise, he'll come back in to form and kick Spurs' ass every chance he can get.

I'm sure there is no substance to this story but the reaction from the Spurs fans did raise a smile.

I'm sure City had nothing to do with this story coming out but the fact is we're riding high in the Premiership and there is every possibility that we'll finish higher than the mighty Spurs and have a great chance in dumping them out of the Carling Cup next month.

That wouldn't be bad for a small team would it?

    Morons!
