Bruce puts stop on Wigan move !
Steve Bruce's unveiling as Wigan boss has been put on hold because of "unforeseen circumstances". The former Man United star was due to be presented as The Addick's new gaffer to the press sometime today but according to Chief Executive of Wigan, Brenda Spencer, "an issue between Birmingham and Steve" is causing the delay in the move.
The club have said that they hope to complete the appointment before the weekend, but I'm sure the Wigan fans are hoping that it is made before then as on Saturday they travel to The Emirates where they face an unbeaten Arsenal side... I'm not sure if even Bruce can stop a defeat there.
The club statement also included; "The club are confident that the situation, which is beyond their control, will be resolved quickly and the club will be in a position to make an announcement in the very near future." So what is probably just a minor upset between Bruce and his former club, nothing to worry about Wigan fans...Oh except Arsenal at the weekend.
