Roma ace told he won't play for the club until he signs new deal
Antonio Cassano has been told by his club Roma that he will not play for the club until he has signed a new contract at the Italian outfit. Despite recovering from a muscle injury he sustained two weeks ago, the striker has been told that he will not play for the club until he agrees a new deal. According to the Italian press, coach Luciano Spalletti is ready to recall the striker for their game against Siena, but officials at the club have rebuffed the idea until the 23-year-old has committed his future to the club. Cassano looked to have agreed a contract extension a few weeks ago, thought to be worth around £3million for up to four seasons, but has since pulled out.
Cassano is a great player and over the summer I have heard many stories that he was going to leave Roma and join fellow Seira A side Juventus. He is only 23 year's old and I think whatever club he is at he will still do a great job. I personally think he will leave next summer and maybe join someone like Chelsea or Real Madrid.
