Gunners and Man Utd set to battle it our for £30 million striker pair !
Arsenal and Man United are set to battle it out for the signatures of either Roque Santa Cruz or Klaas Jan Huntelaar as both clubs may be set to lose their top goal scorers from last season.
Barcelona are reportedly set to up their bid to £30 million to try lure Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor to the Nou Camp. Should Arsenal accept the offer from the La Liga Runners Up, it will undoubtedly see Arsene Wenger in pursuit of a new hitman for the Gunners. Ajax's Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Blackburn's Roque Santa Cruz are thought to be top of the Frenchman's shopping list for the Summer.
However Man United boss Alex Ferguson is also thought to be interested in the two strikers
as he could be about to get a £75 million transfer injection with the rumoured transfer of Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid. Santa Cruz and Huntelaar are valued at about £12 million and £18 million respectively.
