Spurs close in on £7 million Robinson replacement

Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Espanyol keeper Carlos Kameni according to reports in the Daily Mirror today.

The highly rated Cameroon international has been linked with a move away from the La Liga side since the close of the Summer transfer window, and reports today indicate that he has got the go ahead from Espanyol to join Spurs at the beginning of the next transfer window.

The keeper is valued at about £7 million and it is thought that the introduction of Kameni could see the end of Paul Robinson's time at White Hart Lane despite his recent improved form.

Do your research properly and you'll learn he will cost £4.5m not £7m.

  2. Sounds like a good investment. As you say there has been some recent improvement in Robinson's form but looking ahead Spurs need to be building for the future

I always thought he was a good player that lacked cosistency.
