United close in on Argentine international !
West Ham are supposedly close to striking a deal for Villareal central midfielder Leandro Somoza according to reports in the Independent today.
The 26 year old is currently on loan at La Liga side Real Betis, though it is thought that the Argentine international has caught the eye of Hammers boss Alan Curbishley in recent times.
I can't say that I have seen Somoza play but from various reports which I have heard he seems to be a very promising talent and a player which would be well used at West Ham. It is thought that Villareal are looking for around £3 million for the midfielder.
