Toffees sign Portuguese international !
Everton have confirmed the loan signing of Manuel Fernandes from Valencia for the rest of the season.
The Portuguese international was on loan at the Merseyside club for the second half of last season as well, but talks fell through at the end of the campaign over a permanent deal at Goodison Park.
It was necessary for Moyes to strengthen in that area with Pienaar on international duty with South Africa and Leon Osman out injured and I think that Fernandes will be well capable of filling in for Everton in that area. It is thought that he will make his debut for the club next weekend against Wigan.
