Spurs boss Ramos targets £3 million United star
According to today's Daily Star, Tottenham manager Juande Ramos is interested in bringing in Manchester United defender Wes Brown to sure up his defence.
Wes Brown is likely to leave Man United either in January or in the summer after rejecting a new contract at the club and Alex Ferguson saying they won't offer him another one.
Spurs boss, Ramos, is very keen to strengthen his defensive options with Spurs leaking goals by the shed load at the minute.
In my opinion, Brown would be a good addition to the Spurs side. He is a defender who can play in either right back or in the centre and for £3 million is a bargain. I am pretty sure he will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season and I'm sure every United fan will be grateful for what he has done for the club over the years.

brown is a good player, but offers us nothing special or new that we dont already have.
dawson is better when on form, gardener isnt much different from brown imo, rocha, zokora(plays great in CD) we have plenty of average players in central defence, we need to clear them out and replace them with someone special.

Who in their right mind would pay £3m for someone you can pick up for a big fat £0m in 6months?
carry on making rubbish up

why did u say "carry on making rubbish up" when clearly it said in the opening lines that it said so in the Daily Star...
anyway more to the point im not sure if we need another player of that quality. like he is good but i dont think he offers the same attacking option as Pascal Chimbonda does

surely 'shore up'?

Brede Hangeland would really strenghten the central defense. The FC Copenhagen and Norway International player has already been linked to Liverpool.

We've been leaking goals because we've had up to 4 centrebacks out at the same time, and to cap it all the midfielder we stuck at the back got a ridiculous red card. Now that we've got 3 of them back the other players can return to their posts and the clean sheets have already started.
We've already got better men than Wes Brown. He's only good enough for England, wouldn't get past King and Dawson at Tottenham, much the same as Scott Carson and Paul Robinson, Emile Heskey and Jermain Defoe.

Don`t want to see Hangeland in a spurs shirt, and that coming from a norwegian spurs fan.
He is first of all to slow and second he is not a consistent player.
Get in someone better than him please
