Liverpool star is a wanted man
Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano is most definitely a wanted man.
The 23-year old midfielder is currently not owned by Liverpool but Reds boss Rafa Benitez is desperately trying to sign him on a permanent deal.
Mascherano will cost Liverpool £17 million but the club owners seem reluctant to splash that kind of cash on the Argentine international.
Manchester City were said to holding a keen interest in the player and it now appears as though Italian giants Juventus are also looking to sign the defensive midfielder.
Mascherano is a quality player and it is no surprise Juventus have come in for him. I personally hope Mascherano stays in the Premier League wheter that be at City or Liverpool. I am sure many Liverpool fans will be very annoyed at the owners if they fail to give Benitez the funds to complete the deal for Javier.

im a lfc fan and think masch is a great player and we need someone like this just look at utd's strenghth and depth.i think rafa should sell sissoko who's not been the same player since the eye injury, he had a great first season but done nothing since..we would still have alonso who i think is a great player ob stevie and lucas who is young u should get a least 8-10 mill for momo..
