Liverpool and Fulham chase Juve defender

According to today's Sun, Liverpool and Fulham are interested in Juventus defender Jean Alain Boumsong.

The former Newcastle and Rangers player is said to be interested in a move back to England and both Fulham and Liverpool are ready to make bids.

I personally feel either side would be stupid to buy Boumsong because during his time at the Magpies he was nothing short of awful. The 28-year old left Newcastle back in 2006 and joined Juve for a fee of £3.25 million.

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson is keen to add to his defensive options and he is believed to be interested in bringing in the French international on loan. Liverpool have already signed a new defender, in Martin Skrtel and it beggars belief why they would be going after Boumsong.

I am surprised that Liverpool would chase that defender because he didn't do well at Newcastle although he had come with a big reputation. Fulham maybe.

Oh my god, this fell is absolute shite. Had a couple of good games then Newcastle paid a bomb for him. He's muck and he'll be found out again wether it be 'Pool or Fulham. Dire
