Keegan targets £4 million Chelsea defender
According to today's Daily Express, Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan is interested in bringing Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge to St James' Park.
Bridge has been linked with several moves away from Stamford Bridge in recent years after the club signed Ashley Cole last year.
Bridge has made over 75 appearances for the Blues scoring once in the process. Bridge joined Chelsea back in 2003 after leaving Southampton.
I feel Bridge would be a decent addition to the Newcastle side who really do need reinforcements in the defence. Bridge is a good left-back that will get forward at every opportunity and he isn't afraid to make a tackle.

Bridge is useless. He's no better than anyone we already have. £4m is a ridiculous sum for a player of his limited ability. Money could be better spent elsewhere.

What!!? Bridge is a quality player and worth more than £4m in my oppinion!

Bridge is a good attacking left back nearly if not as good as ashley cole on his day!! he would be a good addition and i've always rated him if he has a run in a team you always get the best out of him!!

What the hell...... Bridge is a fantastic left back, getting him at £4m would put it as one of the greatest bargains of all time! As a chelsea fan I will be disappointed if bridge leaves the bridge...

He would be a welcome addition to any squad in the prem and 4mill would be a steal. In the current market you could see him going for double that e.g chelsea just signed an unproven serbian player for 9mill. Would love him to play for the toon

As a Chelsea supporter i can honestly say he is a vastly superior player than Cole. It would be a great loss, but as long as pool dont get him im happy
