Gunners look to beat Spurs to £8 million United star !

Arsenal could be set to make an approach for West Ham keeper, Rob Green according to reports in the Daily Express today. However Tottenham have also been linked with Green recently as well.

The 28 year old joined West Ham from Norwich in 2006 and has managed 45 appearances for the Hammers since. He has put in some terrific performances of late and I have no doubt that West Ham would be a lot worse off without him.
It is likely that Green will cost Arsenal or Spurs between £7 million and £8 million and I think for that price it would be well worth it for the either club.

Far too expensive for a goalkeeper with little else other than good shotstopping ability.

Doesn't command his area, and is average in every other aspect.

Arsenal should be looking at goalkeepers of the calibre of Carlos Kameni, Guillermo Ochoa or Igor Akinfee, not some second rate English goalkeeper.

Arsenal shouldn't buy many Africans because of their involvement in Africa Cup of Nations which is affecting us now.

Green is even far better than Carlos Kameni. If you see the performance of Kameni in that match against Egypt, you can't really pay for this guy.

Wow! Arsenal got killed last night! Anybody see it?
The fans must have been furious! 5 – 1, I mean Tottenham played very well but Arsenal fielded barely any first team players, what were they thinking!? The Fans have every right to be annoyed! When you travel to see your team play you expect them to at least try! Whoever did a little football spread betting on Arsenal losing will be laughing all the way to work this morning! Maybe I Should start spread betting and see if I can win a few bets! I want to laugh on the way to work!
