Chelsea target £25 million Barca star !

Chelsea are set to make an approach for Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta according to reports in the Daily Mirror today.


The 23 year old has made 139 appearances for Barcelona since breaking into the first team in 2002 and has bagged 11 goals in the process. I have seen him play for Barca on numerous occasions and I can honestly say that he is well worth his rumoured £25 million price tag.

I think he would be a great signing for Avram Grant's side but I find it difficult to see Barca letting the Spanish international go for anything less than his rumoured fee.

    A non-story. Who will he replace in the starting line-up of Mikel-Essien-Ballack-Lampard/Drogba-Anelka or Maka-Lampard-Essien/Cole-Drbga-Malouda? or another £25mill for a sub?
