Birmingham eye City misfit

Birmingham are reportedly interested in Manchester City striker Georgios Samaras.

The Greek front man has failed to impress since joining the club back in 2006 from Dutch side Herenveen and City are supposedly looking to offload him.

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish is on the look out for a front man and has apparently asked City to name their price for the 22-year old.

In my view, McLeish should look elsewhere for a striker because quite frankly he'd be wasting his money spending it on Samaras. He has scored an unimpressive 8 goals in his 55 games for City and that kind of form is definitely not up to Premier League standards.

Mcleish would be wasting his mony on Samaras he is a crap striker and can't even make it on the bench for man city. if b'ham city want to challange in the premier league for years to come that shouldnt be going for second rate strikers. if b'ham really want a top class striker they should put a bid in for kris boyd.
