The board will have to leave before Don Rafa does, the last few games have shown that he has the full backing of the fans and is basically invincible at Liverpool. There will be out and out war at Anfield if the owners do get rid as Rafa is without doubt the right man to take us to that next level.

Sorry dude, but Rafa's going. G&H are closing the refinancing deal on Thursday which will cripple LFC buying power to at least 4-5 years.

Brace yourself as Voronin and Sissoko type players are the ppl we can afford.

Also if we are unlucky, we might end up like Leeds should we miss 4th spot a season or two.

    Imagine LFC playing Championship Division...

if the yanks stay - and that is looking increasingly likely then rafa has no chance of being manager next season he'll either be sacked - or take the dignified option of walking away. There cannot be any amount of talking that will patch up the differences between the owners and rafa and the fans. I fear this is the start of some very diffcult times for liverpool. I blame david moores and rick parry.

Rafa has already been tempted with becoming the coach at Real Madrid before. Why on earth would he stay at a club where the owners hate him and will try to replace him behind his back?

Face it: Rafa to Madrid, and Jose to Liverpool. Wonder how the Kop will react? If Gerrard and Torres leave I will die.

I agree the american owners have made mistakes, its just a shame fans can't see that rafa is playing his own game and using the fans to fight his battle!!! For those fans that think this is the end for liverpool, you are helping this continued negative, all this bad feeling is about peoples opinions and the yanks are not devils, they are just business men and we need a solid business foundation or we will go backwards! Im not happy with the way my club has been pulled through the press mangle but I also know the yanks will make us profitable!!!! and that buys players .... is rafa can't see the long term future and continues to blame everyone else but himself, then he should go ... shame, but we can't have a manager moaning via the press. For me he has set all this negative going with his rant to the press. I want the best for the club i have supported for over 40 years and Ive watched us stumble along for the last 20 odd years ... if we all work together and give it a chance, this could be the new beginning! shame so many dont want a new beginning, they just want to stay a side chasing the other 3 ....
