Spurs eye £17 million United star
It has been reported today in the Daily Star that Tottenham boss Junade Ramos is ready to bid for Manchester United midfielder Nani come the January transfer window.
The Portuguese played has failed to nail down a first team place at the club, unlike the player he arrived with in the summer, Anderson. He has scored twice in the Premier League against Spurs and Middlesbrough respectively.
Nani joined the club back in the summer from Sporting Lisbon for a fee believed to be in the region of £14-17 million and the Star says that a figure of around £20 million would be needed to lure him away from Old Trafford.
The 21-year old has played 12 times for United and both of his goals have been 30-yard screamers. I would be really surprised if United were to let him go after only a couple of months, although if they were to be offered the rumoured £20 million, Sir Alex may have to consider it.

What is this, why would united sell nani just 5 months after buying him. C.Ronaldo didnt nail a first team spot after 5 months, look where he is now, and as for anderson, getting regular football, it is only because scholes is out with an injury.

Check the table Spurs arent 18th!

y r we even looking at nani. lets just start from where we are weak, the defence. we need more competition in the defence, dawson shouldn't have a guaranteed start, as far as i can see there's only 1 guaranteed start Ledders, but he's still recovering, and i think he always will be at this rate.

anonymous @5:35 firstly learn to spell rumours ... theres no "n"
secondly why do you ask where he got this bullshit from when it says in the opening lines of the post that it was in the Daily Star
thirdly tottenham are far from 18 th, they are infact 12th
fourthly, how is going from a club where you dont play that much to somewhere where you are more likely to get more game time like going from a "ferrari den u drop down to riding a trolley with a fan at da back"
So to summarise you are horribly wrong in every single way... and you're an absolute tool!

Oh come on guys! I thought the decription of Tottenham was very good! At least the trolley had one fan at the back - just like Whiteheart Lane!!!!!!!

"thirdly tottenham are far from 18 th, they are infact 12th"
about 4 points then? ;-)

There's no way United will be selling Nani... Fergie has already lauded Nani's performances... with the players ahead of him in the line-up, there's no way he'd be a first pick every week at the moment... when Giggs hangs up his boots in about 12-18 months then I'm sure he'll be the nailed in replacement and there's NO suggestion that he is unhappy with the amount of time he is playing as it is. This is just a stupid article with no basis in fact, I'm afraid.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL come on guys!!!!!!!!! are you crazy or just plain stupid nothing is more clear than sir alex wanting him to replace giggs over the next 16 months, why the hell would nani even consider going to a mid table team with highest current ambition of qualifying to the champions league or uefa cap and not actually believing they can win either but just qualify because spurs see that as an achievement. Spurs can't even win the premiership for god sakes!!!!!!!! Think of it like this he will get the first team place eventually in the next 16 months at a club that not only wins local cups and league regularly but can win in any high level european league and world tournaments annnnddddd is one of the most expected to win. Now if it was you would you me stupid enough and move, LOOOOOOOL I doubt mate. No offence about spurs but they're a mid table team at the moment and for many years to come and will most likely not win anything and just be there with no end result. THATS THE REALITY OF IT NOTHING LESS OR MORE, THATS IT.

I don't even know why i'm responding to this crap, as a Spurs fan I know Fegie wouldn't even consider letting him go. Secondly the player wanted champions league footie, why would he come to Tottenham. As much as we'd love to have him we true fans are at least realistic.
Crap article and crap responses from most of you, wot dem peeps fink and all dat... learn to speak english you ignorant tossers.
5:35pm, you are indeed a tool.

Silly story, nothing in it.. Nani knew he would not play alot this season, it is a learning curve.. Anderson is doing well and been a little bit more consistent than Nani and obviously it helps that Scholes is injured and Carrick lacks consistency..

who writes this stuff? and who lets them get away with it? its unbelieveable!
Cathal Breathnach, if there is any evidence or sources to back this up please post. Otherwise, go over to heat magazines website and write this kind of rubbish over there!
