Celtic star set for January Premier League move

Celtic defender Bobo Balde has today been linked with a move to Premier League side Sunderland after falling out of favour at the Glasgow club.

Sunderland boss Roy Keane has apparently identified a defender as one of his main priorities in the January transfer window and he is very keen on bringing the Guinean international to the Stadium of Light.

Balde was linked with a move to Derby during the summer but nothing ever materialised from that rumour and he now looks set to join the Black Cats.

The 32 year old has made 157 appearances since joining the club back in 2001 from Toulouse. I really hope Balde leaves Celtic in January because he has a lot of ability and it is shame to see him sitting on the bench every week.

At last. Someone who also agrees that Balde is a good player. He is without doubt the best out and out defender in Scotland, and considering his wage packet should be first name on the team sheet for a club who have not kept a clean sheet away from home in over a year.

He would be a roaring success in the EPL. They wot know whats hit them.........literally.
