Super Gerrard !
This week's player of the week has to go to Liverpool's Steven Gerrard for his magnificent performance against Newcastle on Saturday. Gerrard was booed from start to finish by the home support for his part in England's failed Euro 2008 qualifying campaign but he didn't let that get to him.
Liverpool ran out 3-0 winners at St James' Park with Gerrard scoring and setting up one. Not everyone may agree with my decision and if you didn't please tell me who you think deserved to be player of the week.

How can Gerrard and other England players play so poor for country and when three days later play so well for their clubs!!

thats the question on all eng fans lips...I thiink the answer is simple... they care more about their club than country
