Manchester rivals battle for Scot star !!!
Man Utd are set to make a bid for Scotland and Rangers full back, Alan Hutton in the upcoming January transfer window according to reports in todays papers.
Hutton, 22, has impressed the crowds and obviously several Premier League managers, after his wonderful performances for Rangers both domestically and in Europe. He also played a big part in Scotland's Euro qualifying campaign not least in last nights match against Italy in Hampden Park, where the Scots were desperately unlucky to lose 2-1 to the world champions.
A reporter from the Daily Record on Sky Sports Sunday Supplement today said that he doesn't expect Hutton to leave in the near future, however if the right offer came in Rangers would have almost no choice but to accept it.
It is thought that if Utd and City are to make a bid for Hutton that it will be for that of around £7 million.
