Madrid look to sign Portugese star !!! Sergio Ramos to Liverpool !!!
Real Madrid are set to make an approach for Sporting CP star, Miguel Veloso in the January transfer window according to The Sun newspaper.
However, Real Madrid will have to fend off fellow admirers Arsenal and Man Utd and it is believed that his destination club will have to pay £10 million to persuade the Portuguese club to release him.
Veloso established a regular place in the Sporting team in the 2006/07 season after returning from a successful loan spell at Olivais e Moscavide. Veloso's talent became known to a wider audience in his clubs famous 1-0 win over Inter Milan in which his man of the match performance took the spotlight of Luis Figo's homecoming. The 21 year old has also gotten his first two caps for the Portuguese national team.
The possible introduction of the defensive minded player into the Madrid team may see the rumoured exit of Sergio Ramos to Liverpool come true.
