Liverpool aim for Spanish pair come January !!! Hyypia out ???
Liverpool are set to make bids for Athletic Bilbao defender Fernando Amorebieta and Spanish U-21 midfielder Javi Martinez in the coming January transfer window. To read about Javi Martinez possible Reds move click here.
Fernando Amorebieta is a built centre half currently playing for Athletic and it is believed that he would provide sufficient cover for Liverpool first choice centre halfs Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger. The Bilbao number 5 has made 49 first team appearances since joining the La Liga side in 2005.
It is thought that the 22 year old will cost The Reds between £6 million and £8 million. The arrival of these new faces may also see the end of Sami Hyypia's Liverpool career as admirers Wigan and Reading look to snatch up the Finnish international
