Chelsea and Arsenal chase £30 million midfielder !!!

Chelsea and Arsenal are both set to make approaches for Dinamo Zagreb and Croatian midfielder, Luka Modric in the upcoming January transfer window. However it is expected that either of the London clubs will have to splash out up to £30 million for the midfielder.


The 22 year old has an impressive goalscoring record for a midfielder, netting 20 times in his 69 appearances for his club side. On an international level he has also looked promising, scoring 3 times since starting for his national side in March 2006.

It is clear that this is a promising young talent but is £30 million too much for someone who the Premier League fans haven't seen much of ???

    Not a chance Wenger would piss out £30 million on a midfielder that is yet to do antin! You make 3 goals in 21 appearences for country sound like alot.

    Ha, Ha, 30mil. too much????? Did you saw the game at Wembley yesterday???? How much for Gerrard then? The same for Luka if not more.... 30mil seems very reasonable to me. If they wait until EuroChamps it could be even much, much more. Bilic said: Messi and Modric should have the same price, and Bilic know something about football, agree lads?
