Man Utd target £8 million Porto star !

Man United are set to make an approach for Porto defender Jose Bosingwa in the January transfer window according to reports in the Daily Telegraph today.

Bosingwa has been strongly rumoured with a move to the Premier League, but this is the first time that United have been linked with the Portuguese international. He has also been linked with Boro, Villa and Spurs in past weeks.
United are probably favourites at the moment to secure the Porto number 12's signature because of the Portuguese presence at Old Trafford. It is likely though, that the Superliga side will not let him go for anything less than £8 million.

  1. £8 million??? I wonder where the british press gets these figures! For £8 million Utd won´t even get an answer back! Porto refused offers of £10 million for Bosingwa.

Bos is Europe best rigt back at the moment! Unless he injures himself, he's going to be at the Euro'08; which means he will value himself further. Porto won't sell him for less than £15 million, specially at this time of the season!
